An enquiry was received regarding the lifting and relocation of a flour/grain silo. The possibility of it being positioned within the new warehouse was questionable as others has said it could not be done. We found a solution.

With careful, precise measuring and ‘out of the box’ thinking, we put our name to the fact it could be achieved. With tandem lifting via crane and hiab, the silo was lifted from an outside site area, layed on its side and transported approx. 1 mile to the new factory. The transport was reversed into the factory with the silo on board. The crane and hiab was then used to stand the silo within the factory. Final positioning was achived with a forklift and various ground handling equipment.
