Glass Atrium Strip Out

Project Summary

To completely strip out a glass atrium and leave the existing building intake and fully functional.

Project Brief

A client approached us asking for a front glass atrium entrance to be removed, with all steelworks completely stripped out. This had to be completed over a 2-day period, during the weekend, due to the building being occupied and in use during the week.

Planning was crucial due to the tight timeframe, it had to be completed on time and made safe by the end of the weekend. All materials had to be removed and disposed of by ourselves, adding to the planning of the job.

Snook’s Lifting and Engineering Ltd came up with a solution and executed the job within the designated timeframe, ensuring that the client was happy and the area was made safe, with no risk to the client’s staff or damage to the existing building.

The Result

By the end of the weekend, the glass atrium was completely removed and stripped out, all steel works were removed and the space was boarded up to be made safe, ready for future works to be completed.
